Plastic components manufactured in Diepholz can be found in millions of car seats around the world. Omega Technology supplies the company Adient (formerly Johnson Controls) which is one of the world’s largest automotive supplier and manufacturer of car seats. In 2016, the company was presented a prestigious award in the USA.
Omega’s Managing Director Jürgen Exner received the 2016 Platinum Performance Award at the Adient supplier conference in Detroit. Adient only presents this prestigious award to two of their 1,000 worldwide suppliers. A steel manufacturer based in Sweden was the other company to receive the glass trophy.
The award was presented to Omega on the basis of its exceptional performance in terms of quality, delivery reliability and development work. Managing Director Jürgen Exner passed on the award to founder and owner of Omega Walter D. Olbert who was delighted and proud to receive the trophy. ‘It is a wonderful honour for our company and for all our employees and I am delighted that the huge efforts that the company makes to meet such a discerning customer’s requirements have been recognised. During the often difficult grind of day-to-day business, which can often be impersonal and where communication is reduced to price and delivery agreements, there is far too rarely enough time for the words “thank you”. These simple words were not only clearly stated in Detroit but also made tangible with the platinum award.’
